- Place your keyword in the page title.

If these do not work, check the possibility that there are no ads that match your keyword. Wide Ads

Second, use wide ads (250×250, 336×280, 300×250). Experience has shown that wider ads (which easily call attention to themselves) are the best performing ads.

Third, blend your ads with your website themes. If your background color is white, make your ad’s border and background white as well. If the background color is dark (i.e., black), use bright colors such as yellow as the link color – which would help reduce user ad-blindness.

- In the middle of an article or page. If your article is more than 500 words, people tend to stop for a moment to ‘rest’ by looking for something different while they read.

- At the end of an article. The natural tendency of people when they’ve finished an interesting article is to think, “Okay, what’s next?” The answer would be right there – in the Google Adsense ads that may provide them with just the answer they need.

How can you really be sure that this ad is ok with the TOS of Google Adsense if you plan to do like them? Just because some other webmaster got away with it does not mean you will get away with it. Do not trust other webmaster when they say they their website is ok with this, if you want to keep your Adsense intact then write to Google Adsense and ask them.
It does not work to report the ads in questions and wait for an answer they will not answer you they will say thinking for reporting and that’s it. You need to send a separate email to there customer support and ask them

1) Upper adsense box. There’s a picture to the right, which is against TOS.
2) Right adsense block. Strictly against TOS (use of images to ‘mask’ ads).

People are complaining that the new referral system from Google Adsense does not really create any money just clicks to the advertisers. I tried for a while now I have not got one single sale out from the system but maybe I am not target the right group in my site.

Google give you a Christmas present – Take away all the images next to Adsense now!

Yes its official the sweet days are over you can no longer have images next to the ads to make people click them more then usual. We know that this is coming as a bad Christmas present but you need to compile pretty quick before Adsense Bans you.

We and many other wished that Google Adsense told us 1 month before and not in the time for the holiday season when you have so many other things to do.

Google And Me suspect that the upcoming option in Adword to put pictures next to your ads have something to do with it.
