Picasa is a software application such as word processors, spreadsheets, and media players for organizing and editing digital photos, originally created by Idealab. The company was acquired by Google since July 13, 2004.
Since the acquisition by Google, Google start gaining money from acquiring Picasa by offering Picasa for free download as a photo editor and organizer. Picasa has very unique feature which can satisfy the users with the best because the customers can use the same image in the multiple albums without copying the file, so it can help the users save a lot of time. Also the users can make the private collection of photos by setting the password to open the photo collection.

Keyhole, Inc, founded in 2001, was a pioneering software development company specializing in geospatial data visualization applications and was acquired by Google in 2004.
Its major product lines are Google Earth and Earth stream which is a product for car navigation. The truth is the war in Iraq between Iraq and America can make the Keyhole Google Earth boost its size because it’s totally useful for the military in the war to search for the location.

In the meanwhile, there are only five customers shown in its acquisition which were US Army CECOM, the United States Department of Defense, the National Imagery and Mapping Agency and the Middlesex County Sheriff’s office.
But since the acquisition all those customers are the customers of Google as well.
