Some one really does not like Digital Point forum right now and they site is down almost every day. The hacker use some kind of auto bot to spam the forum until the database goes down.

Matt Cutts you know the official blogger for Google has pointed out the alt tags is very important and that we should subscribe to the webmaster blog by Google.

You should always listen to what he says even if he sometimes talked about his cat or something. There almost all the time hidden secret messages in what he says. So maybe he is talking about the cat but what’s behind the cat, know what I mean?

I made a 3000 post landmark in Digital Point forum the other day. I learned a lot from that forum and I also had gained many friends from their and it felt good to see the “green” bar rising higher.

The Digital Point also has an Adsense sharing program of the old sort not the one that is associated with Adsense. You get paid in a shared way but since there is so many users in Digital point I think I made under 10 $ from 3000 posts.

But what I got instead of money in the Adsense account is people clicking on my links, people helping me with codes, free software, the latest webmaster news and the best of all new friends.

Let hope the 4000 post come soon and if you not a member on Digital Point forum yet you should become one now.

Matt Cutts has written to Search Engine Journal and told them that the PageRank that happened this week was to correct the paid links to gain PageRank. No shit Matt!

The partial update to visible PageRank that went out a few days ago was primarily regarding PageRank selling and the forward links of sites. So paid links that pass PageRank would affect our opinion of a site.
Going forward, I expect that Google will be looking at additional sites that appear to be buying or selling PageRank.

There is no word when the next PageRank is going to take place or what we should think about until then. But Google has to blame themselves they are the once that created PageRank and people use it and abuse it out of Google’s control right now.

The word goes out even stronger don’t sell or buy link you get spanked by Google or at least by Matt.

Web directory penalizations

Google is punishing so called Directory rings and paid directory and taking away links coming and going from them. It has been a lot of talk on different forums what’s really going on but not many people know how they really determine what link that should go away or not. We can just see one paid directory after another loosing PageRank and the owners are crying out.

Matt Cutts warned the paid directory people long time ago so this was something that expected. But still it must be terrible for those how are affected.

Search Engine Optimization for WordPress by Matt Cutts

Matt Cutts from Google gave some advice about white hat Search Engine Optimization Tricks for WordPress on the 2007 word camp.

Most of what he did not talk was the Google Dance that everybody want to know when the PageRank is going to be updated but he told the bloggers some interesting things.

Don’t use the main domain as your blog use a /blog or whatever name you like but not WordPress like I did here on my Thailand Blog.

Use good SEO friendly category names.

Use Stephan Spencer’s SEO Title plug-in

Do the standard pings and make sure you send out RSS

He also said that please mark all pictures, video and audio its going to be important for the future.

I think people getting nuts now for Google new PageRank update. People have been talking about it since June and everyday in the webmaster forums people writing like “ohh now its happening” or “Google is upgrading now I am sure” but so fare nothing. They must have so much fun looking at all the post people post guessing when the update of PageRank is going to be.

I am as unknowing as you are when Google is finally going to update the PageRank and my guess is as good as anyone but the word is in July but July is soon over so I guess soon. But that’s just my guess off course.
