Found an article in DN.SE a Swedish newspaper about how to get work in IT on the internet will its simple just read this.

Many think that freelance work is just done by people from India and Pakistan but that is not true. You from a western country have a big advantage inform of culture and social behavior. Most people that do the hiring are from a Western country and they want to deal with western people.

There are many problems when you put out a job in a freelance site and most people I deal with waste my time. I would gladly pay 100 $ more if I know that this person will actually fulfill his work.

The also fixed the Pay Pal payments so there will be no fee and they add Money Bookers as a payment option.

Is it always a good idea to use outsource webmasters?

Asian webmasters are very popular to use right now but is it always a good idea to use outsource webmasters?
No it is not for some work you really need the webmaster with the same background and education level as you. I am not telling you that Asian webmasters for example are worse then Western I just saying they think in a different way.

For example Asian people are very often used to copy what you say to them or do what they are told rather then think for themselves. If you ask them to copy something and make it look like your site, you might end up with other names and phone numbers then your own because the webmaster just copy the hole thing.

Another scenario is they will work for 1 month with the script or site and you wasted your time and they you think wasted yours. Everything in the script looks great then you sees that the difficult part is not done and when you ask them about that they just vanish.

Do not use freelancers for upgrades

Do not plan to use a freelancing webmaster for long term they are often snapped away by other companies and can not upgrade your products. If you want to make a script or site make sure you make it easy for other webmaster to upgrade.
A even worse scenario is that you give the pass and log in to a for you total stranger and he will take all your email addresses from your forum for example.

Double check with other webmasters

If you have doubt about the quality of the site hire webmasters with god reputation and pay those to check the work before you pay the freelancer. It will save you time and money as well. You can also give some of the code to some other webmaster in some forum you know just ask him to take a look at it.

Let them fight for the money

If you have big budgets make a contest in you favorite webmaster forum or blog and ask people to send in work to you. Let them fight for your money and you will get very good results.

It can be difficult to hire a freelancer as a webmaster it can cause loss of time and also money. Let me give you a few ideas what to write when you hire someone in for example Script Lance.

*** Please give me a dead line you can hold or I cancel the product

*** All spam messages will be reported
*** Do not post if you can not do it for the price it will be reported as spam

1. Stops everyone from cheating you but can scare away serious programmers if you do not have any reputations points on Script Lance.

2. If everything is done on your server you have total control but be sure he will not use it to spam or hack into your other system, close down emails and mail from script if you can.

3. This is off course up to you but I prefer this way. Any serious webmaster can find a way to get a pay pal account nowadays.

4. This can make you loose out on the new people but if you do not waste time stick with this.

5. The programmers are notorious to take to much work but keep it clear that you will cancel even if he half way into the work.

6. You need to communicate quick and easy sometimes it is better the email.

7. Some webmaster just give you a long list of website the have done and do not even read what you said. They give you a price of 5000 $ so you not use them

In Script Lance there is not much point doing the project private since you only get a few programmers but if it is a lot of money and you need some serius people then this is for you.

I tried the hide project bids one time but it did not work very well I did not get the work cheaper so just skip that one.

To do the project featured can be good in some cases specially if you want more bids but otherwise you can skip it. I got lots more bids when I did it.

Do not make the same mistake as one of my clients did. They paid over 10 000 $ for a website they could not use. Well they can use it but it is full with flaws. Before you even hire a programmer check the market. Go to places like Script Lance and check the real price for the product your doing. In this case dating sites there is 100 of dating script for the fraction of the price and if you still not happy then you can hire a programmer to change the script for you. But it will never be this much money if you not building a new Google site or something.

You better hire some one from the Internet. You have unlimited staff to pick from and it’s the buyers market. If you do not like them you can move on and if you think they are good keep them and recommend them to other.

There is freelancers and also established companies that can do everything for you from design, logo, coding and even SEO marketing.

There is many ways to find them but the best way is to check your favorite webmaster forum or ask a friend of college if have used any webmaster on the internet.

Remember that most payment is made by paypal or similar service so a credit card is probably a must. Never pay a webmaster in advance that you do not know and never give him access to you server. Ask him to finish the work on his server and later move it to yours.
If he does not have a server he is not even to be considered.
