I asked what Google Adsense thinks about copyrighted material because there is so many pages that have copies of girls from calendars or picture from AP or other news agencies on their website. Even Youtube have loads of copyrighted content but off course they are owned by Google themselves.

This is the strange answer I got from Google in this matter not really clear is it? So many sites are doing it and still they have Adsense.

indicated in our program policies, www.google.com/adsense/policies ,
website publishers may not show Google ads on pages with copyrighted
material used without permission of the copyright holder. We ask that you
do not place Google ads on any such pages.
